Online Campervan Upholstery Course
Something exciting is coming, the chance to learn with us, anywhere.
Are you interested in turning your Self Build Campervan dreams into reality? Whether you're a Campervan Convertor looking to expand your in-house skills, or a freelancer considering kicking off your own upholstery venture, we've got you covered with our brand new online courses, launching on the 2nd December
After 10 years of running our courses in our beautiful Dorset workshop, we are adding online courses to our offering.
Because we know that when students come to us, they have accommodation costs to cover, travel, and other expenses. We love seeing our students in person, but we want to remove any barriers that crop up between you and realising your passion for campervan upholstery. So what’s it going to look like? Read on, or if you’ve heard enough and want to be the first to know when the doors open, pop us your email!
What to Expect on Dec 2nd:
🛋 A Unique Learning Experience: tailored to your learning style; choose between intense, focused blocks in our 6 Week Campervan Upholstery Skill Accelerator course , (perfect if you have a solid block of free time available for learning) or our Step-by-Step skill-stacking approach over an extended period, designed to fit around a busy lifestyle. By the end of either course, you will have a campervan seat designed, sewn and created by YOU, and you’ll be ready to embark on an exciting new venture
🤝 Personalised Support: We are here to support you every step of the way. From guiding you through the learning process to offering live Zoom Q&A sessions, and coaching. Your success is our top priority. We stay with you throughout your learning journey and beyond (as Buzz Lightyear would say!)
Campervan Upholstery isn't about sitting with a pen and notebook. It's about getting your hands on the materials, feeling the satisfaction of every bolt, and sometimes even the challenge of finding that dropped bolt! It’s more than writing stuff down, and we are passionate about bringing that to our online courses.
If you were coming to a workshop we’d be asking you about your project, what designs you like, your colour schemes and if you drink tea or coffee.
You’d ask us what you need to bring, what’s a good project? Do I need tools, can I make an income at this and tons of other stuff.
To help get you started before the course, answer your questions and give you some insight into what the courses are like, we’ve had a rather brilliant idea. We’d like to ask you to Join our exclusive community as we embark on this exciting journey together, unveiling something truly special on December 2nd.

What You'll Learn on our online course:
Our online course is just like popping into the workshop; we ask you about your goals and ideas, check how you take your tea or coffee, and most importantly, have fun in the process of learning. We aren’t too stuffy, don’t take ourselves too seriously, and believe there’s no such thing as a daft question (mostly ;)) We don’t throw loads of information at you and expect you to get it right immediately, we take our time and make sure you are comfortable with the pace.
Here’s a few things you’re going to learn with us:
Campervan Seat and Bed Upholstery: From stripping down to fitting new covers, we cover everything about campervan upholstery
Master various decorative stitches and understand the operation of an industrial sewing machine
Material and Thread Knowledge: Gain insights into suitable materials and threads for your projects
Pattern Layout and Sewing: Learn how to layout and sew popular patterns like the 'Bentley Diamonds'
Fitting Covers & Understanding Foams: From correct cover fitting to understanding foam types, we've got you covered
Professional Tips: Discover crucial Do's & Don'ts, along with our preferred suppliers, to kickstart your upholstery journey
Who is This Course For?
This course is perfect for those who want to turn their passion for campervans into a fulfilling profession or hobby. Whether you're feeling stuck in your current job, or if you run a camper conversion business and want to take control of your upholstery work, this course is for you. Achieve personal development, pride, and the joy of people saying "Wow, did you do that?". You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience, you don’t need to know how to use a sewing machine (no bad habits to unlearn that way!) you just need to turn up with passion and an eagerness to learn :) We are going to do the rest together!
A bit more on Support…
Support is our favourite part of teaching. We're committed to providing you with the best learning experience and support to master campervan upholstery.
After over 10 years of experience training students to be fantastic upholsterers, we know that the journey doesn’t end when you finish our courses - it’s just the beginning!
So we want to stay with you as you learn what it really means to be your own boss - whether that’s giving advice on pricing, sending videos to help with tricky patterns, and most importantly celebrating with you each time you get a gorgeous finished piece out of your workshop and into a van.
Couldn’t recommend enough! I did the 10 day upholstery course and having been on other upholstery courses, it is the most comprehensive course that I have been on. Jacquie and Claire are amazing, willing to talk you through any question or problem... Having now set up my business, I cannot thank them enough." - Ruby Hornsby
